Medical Care

Care at RehaGym ideally begins with a rehabilitation physician. The initial examination starts with a comprehensive medical history focused on a detailed description of your problems and how they have developed – the aim is to find the cause, not just ease the symptoms, and to choose the right diagnostic and therapeutic approach based on the findings.

What the initial examination involves

You leave the initial examination with recommendations and basic exercises for self-therapy at home.

This is followed by an examination of the musculoskeletal system, during which the rehabilitation physician assesses posture, any asymmetries and other functional deviations. Where indicated, we refine the diagnosis with a musculoskeletal ultrasound examination, which gives a detailed view of the soft tissues.

Where pain needs to be addressed, we also offer targeted, ultrasound-guided interventions – including the application of hyaluronic acid or other anti-inflammatory medication. At the end, we explain our findings in plain language, propose the next steps and leave plenty of room for your questions.
