RE.LIFE

Our unique annual RE.LIFE CSR program for wheelchair users, "At the Starting Line with RehaGym," is designed to combine movement, health care, and unforgettable experiences. The goal is for each participant to fully enjoy the program, gain motivation and confidence, and leave with the feeling that no challenge is unbeatable.

About the programme for wheelchair users

Our special signature gym is wheelchair-accessible and designed to help wheelchair users regain movement by returning their muscles to natural patterns using movement geometry.

We understand the importance of psychological well-being for muscle relaxation and overall cooperation. Our holistic approach to body care is especially essential for wheelchair users.

Boot Camp for wheelchair users

We have completed the first BOOT CAMP 2026 for active wheelchair users at RehaGym!

In June we launched something exceptional at RehaGym – with respect for movement and health.
Our clients – active wheelchair users – took part in a unique three-week daily programme that brings together the best of our neurorehabilitation and motivational care, under the patronage of Martina Cienciala and the whole team.

RE.LIFE – the path to a more active life

RE.LIFE is RehaGym's programme for adults after brain or spinal injury, after stroke and for wheelchair users. It helps develop physical fitness, independence and self-confidence. We believe that real change does not come from regular exercise alone, but from combining movement, a healthy lifestyle, professional support and long-term motivation. Our goal is an environment in which people discover their potential, overcome their own limits and gain confidence in everyday life.

What the programme includes

  • Neurorehabilitation – individual physiotherapy exercise, electrotherapy, training with a movement therapist in a barrier-free gym, group exercise. The process is overseen by a rehabilitation physician.
  • Occupational therapy – training in self-care, upper-limb rehabilitation, cognitive training, assistive devices and adaptations to the home environment.
  • Massage and recovery – release of muscle spasms, lymphatic massage, red light therapy.
  • Psychotherapy and coaching – coming to terms with a new situation, relationships, returning to work, long-term mentoring.
  • Nutrition counselling – an individual plan against both excess weight and malnutrition, supplementation, sleep habits.
  • Concierge – help with public authorities, social support, transport and leisure activities.

Intensive programmes (an alternative to spa treatment)

Several weeks of daily care, put together individually according to your needs, goals and current state of health. Because all the specialists are in one place, the client receives comprehensive care that supports physical development, functional abilities and overall quality of life.

Motivational programmes

Lasting change takes more than determination at the start. Motivational programmes help maintain regularity, build healthy habits and find joy in your own progress – through challenges, shared activities and community support, including meetings with mentors who have their own experience of disability.

How to start

Write to us or call – family members or foundations are welcome to get in touch too. We will arrange a personal meeting and an examination by a rehabilitation physician, and together we will set up a plan and its funding (your own resources, discounted club membership, foundations and donors). You will find the detailed admission process on the Neurorehabilitation page.
